Books & Paper Goods Product Photography: What to Expect
We shoot books, journals, branded packaging and printed stationery on white backgrounds and in styled flat lay scenes. Paper goods have matte and glossy finishes side by side (a glossy book cover next to matte interior pages, for example), so we adjust lighting per surface to keep covers glare-free while still showing texture on matte paper stock and embossing detail. These images need to perform on Amazon, Shopify, Walmart Marketplace and Etsy listings where cover design and print quality drive the purchase decision. Pricing starts at $30/photo for a single white-background shot, with styled flat lay scenes priced per grouping. FAQs on embossing and foil-detail shots are below. Standard turnaround is 3-5 business days, with embossing and foil-detail shots taking a bit longer to light without washing out subtle texture. Brands with a full product line get volume pricing across all SKUs, and we keep cover lighting consistent across hardcover, softcover, and journal formats shot in the same session. Files are delivered pre-sized for Amazon, Shopify, Walmart Marketplace, and Etsy specs.
